Who am I?
I’m Hannah Henderson – I’m a travel writer, foodie and photographer based in France. I write travel related content, promote brands and destinations – usually with a foodie bias; and I hope that this inspires others to travel.
I travel independently often, but also work with tourism boards, PR companies, and small businesses to provide destination marketing.
I also run a business consultancy called The Useful Human.
Where it started
I started my career as an entertainment photographer and PR for rock bands in New Zealand. I also worked at the Museum of New Zealand during the day as an art librarian!
Tourism and Photography were my start and and have become a running theme throughout my working life.
My qualifications
I love studying – I have a certificate of Art & Design (Photography); a Bachelor degree with honours in Art History; and Masters degree in Museum Studies. I also have Tourism and TEFL certifications. One day I would love to get my PhD in an obscure art-related subject!
My interests
My interests outside travel and blogging include playing music and singing in a duo with my husband. Developing my palate for wine and absinthe, and cooking! Discovering the local cuisines while travelling is one of the highlights of travel for us.
