My name is Hannah, and travel (and writing about it) is my passion. Specifically, I enjoy making travel and adventure fit into busy lifestyles (mostly my own) – as I am a true believer in the ‘work to live’, rather than ‘live to work’ concept. Along with my musician husband, @roadtrippingroy, I galavant around the world and write about it, and then help other people travel too!
I have a certificate in Tourism; a Certificate of Art & Design (Photography); a BA (Hons) in Art History; and Masters in Museum Studies. I love to learn, and that translates into my travels and my writing.
I don’t accept guest posts (the only guest post I have is from my Mom!). I am happy to talk collaborative posts, but do not have straight guest posts as a general rule.
I write only about my own experiences, and this very much concentrates on fitting travel into a busy lifestyle – so there is an emphasis on city breaks, long weekends and day trips, with a foodie/drinkie bias! I also love museums, art and history, so these feature heavily.
I have a variety of services from travel planning for aspiring travellers, to travel content creation and photography for brands. Please see my Services page for details.
I only write about places I have been in person, so there is a skew towards Europe, North America and New Zealand – the places I spend most of my travel-time. But I am always looking to reach and explore new places.
I started blogging many years ago, purely to ensure I remembered all my own adventures; but have now incorporated my love of writing, photography and mini-breaks into an extensive blog which includes travel tips, some compensated travel reviews, and various travel planning services for others.
